With the recent surge of hit American drama ‘Prison Break’ flying onto British screens, a keen interest has been taken in Michael Scofield, the show’s leading character, who’s personality has been brought to life by the seductive and charming, Wentworth Miller.
Born Wentworth Earl Miller III on the 2nd June 1972 in Chipping Norton, England, Wentworth only had his on-screen debut in 2002 in the ABC series, ‘Dinotopia’.
Before that, Miller was travelling the globe with graduate friends as part of Princeton University’s famous a capella group, ‘The Princeton Tigertones’.
After returning to the US, Miller made his way to Los Angeles to pursue a career behind the scenes in the entertainment industry. There, he turned an internship into a paying job that eventually led to a successful career in front of the camera.
As well as a guest appearance in ‘Buffy the Vampire Slayer’, Wentworth has sparked interest through his unique appearance and cultural background. With one green eye and one hazel, as well as a gene pool that includes African, Jamaican, English, German, French, Dutch, Syrian and Lebanese descent, it is no wonder that Miller’s unique and beautiful character is being snapped up by all of those that can get their hands on him.
