On February 17th, 1981, an unstoppable force was let loose on the World. It wasn’t the resignation of Polish Prime Minister Josef Pinkowski, replaced by the unpronoucably named, Wojciech jaruzelski. Nor was it the Iran hostage crisis ending with the release of 52 American hostages.

On that monumental day, Paris Whitney Hilton was born to soon-to-be-multi-billionaire Richard Hilton. (As you probably already know, Paris is the heiress to the Hilton hotel fortune that amass such an amount that its difficult to comprehend it as money as the figure is estimated to be the same as the population of a continent.)

Clutching Tinkerbell, her pet Chihuahua, the would-be celebutante sashayed through high school and began modelling at the age of sixteen. It seems that Paris’ love of being in front of the camera would be integral to her career not to mention that film, causing one of the biggest celeb scandals since Eddie Murphy was caught giving that prostitute ‘directions’.

Paris played cameo roles in movies until MTV offered her, and fellow socialite, Nicole Ritchie (daughter of Lionel ‘Hello’ Ritchie) staring roles in their own show. The Simple Life plucked poor Paris and Nicole from celeb-land and dropped them in rural America. They worked on farms, did menial jobs, milked cows and herded cattle to the market. The show really placed Hilton in the limelight, but it would be another intimate reality show that Paris would become most notorious for.

Whilst dating Rick Salomon, the duo made a personal recording of themselves having ‘relations’. The tape was leaked onto the internet and became a huge phenomenon. Salomon, spying an opportunity to make some money decided to market the film and sold it under the name ‘One Night In Paris’, (see what he did there?)

Bad luck seems to haunt Paris every few months. Recently Paris had a personal, address book hacked, exposing the contact details of celebrity friends such as painfully thin Lindsay Lohan and the offender-of-all-five-senses, Christina Aguilera.

However, Paris isn’t one to let these embarrassing moments halt her assault on popular culture. The fact that these events are being parodied boosts Hilton’s fame, allowing her to expand her business acumen and personal life.

The heiress has even created her own record company, aptly named Heiress Records, through which she will release her own debut album. ‘Paris Is Burning’.

Paris’ movie career is also going from strength to strength, with her starring role in 2005’s House Of Wax which had the immortal tagline ‘See Paris die’. Paris also takes the role of Victoria English in the newest National Lampoons film, Pledge This!

And it looks like nothing can stop the blot on society that is Miss Paris Hilton. It’s best to lie back and think of England as she lives her life.
