Allan Brocka brought Boy Culture to the 2006 London Lesbian & Gay Film Festival.  The film follows the candid confessions of ‘X’, a wildly successful male escort.

After ten years of sex-for-pay, X gets romantically entangled with his two hot roommates and a reclusive elderly client, Gregory.

But before Gregory will agree to sex, he tells an unsetting love story spanning fifty years and dares X to try something he hasn’t felt in years: emotion.

Based on the critically-acclaimed novel by Matthew Rettenmund, Boy Culture tackles issues of sexual mores and emotional risk with a witty and incisive voice, revealing the leap of faith that love demands.

Hello! How have you been since we last spoke to you?

Hi Puffta! I have been great since we last spoke, although I have missed you terribly.

Are you excited about the World Premiere of 'Boy Culture' at this years LLGFF? Will you be attending?

I’m very excited about the the World Premiere of Boy Culture in London. I had so much fun when I was there with Eating Out two years ago, but this time I’m hoping to find someone to give me a tour of all the really hot gay spots. I didn’t have much time to check it out last time.

Is Boy Culture as hot as Eating Out? We all remember the phone sex scene, can we expect to walk out of the theatre wanting sex this time round?

Eating Out was a screwball comedy about getting laid and Boy Culture is a more serious film about taking emotional risks and non-traditional relationships. That said, everyone gets laid. So, I hope people will want to have sex afterwards, yes.

Have you ever had a threesome, or been in a threesome relationship?

Threesome? Hell, yes. A threesome relationship? I haven’t had one, but I’m not opposed to the idea. It’s just been so hard to even find a twosome relationship that I don’t even dare to dream for more than that.

If you could give one piece of advice to the one that joins a couple, what would it be?

At the beginning, it’s all about you, enjoy it... because at the end, it’ll be your fault.

Do you think threesomes can last?
Yes.

Pick two of these celebrities to make your perfect threesome:

Brad Pitt
Tom Cruise
Jake Gyllenhaal
Heath Ledger
Joaquin Phoenix
Jessica Alba
Jason Statham
Angelina Jolie

Why isn’t Ryan Phillippe or Matthew Rush on this list?! I guess I’ll have to go with something old and something new, Brad Pitt and Jake Gyllenhaal.

We thought we'd add in some ladies to spice things up!

Well, I’m gay, so you can leave the spices in the spice rack.

In your own words, sum up Boy Culture.

A fun and sexy film that will get you hard and make you think.

Watch out for the London Lesbian Gay Film Festival in 2007.
