When you have HIV, your body is fighting a constant battle. This article is aimed at giving you some tips on how to stay as healthy as possible.

After many years, your body may need certain drugs to inhibit HIV replication. In addition to this treatment you way want to consider getting into a regular exercise routine and look at what you are eating. Exercise and diet are two factors that can influence our health and overall well being. Eating fresh fruits and vegetables are beneficial because they have a high vitamin content.

Vitamins are essential if we are to maintain good health. I know fruit and vegetables aren’t very exciting so you may wish to think about a multi-vitamin complex. This will ensure that your body is getting what is needs to stay as healthy as possible. If you are unsure about the effectiveness of a particular multi-vitamin complex please discuss it with your GP. She/he will be able to give you help and guidance about what is best for you.

You may also think about exercising. Exercising can help maintain physical strength, and when you are HIV + it is a good idea to make sure that you stay fit. Just a small jog two or three times a week or just walking even. Anything that you can do to keep fit will help but remember not to overdo it. If you can afford it, a personal trainer at your local gym can give you excellent tips to keep your body fit and healthy!

By focusing on diet and exercise you can maximise your overall health. There are other factors that I would like to discuss that are related to staying healthy. The first factor is “stress”. Living with HIV can be very stressful and it is a good idea to do things to manage it. I have one friend that does yoga and meditation for example. Obviously this will certainty not apply to most people but it is an option.

I always find taking the dog for a walk with my walkman in the park or in the country side can do the trick for me. We all are all going to have some sort of procedure that is going to make us relaxed and less stressed. But remember what works for me doesn’t necessarily work for you and vice versa. We are all different so work out what works for you and put it to good use.

Relaxation on a regular basis will give you a break and you will be able to clear your mind and will make you feel better. The way we feel can also have an affect on our health.

Sleeping is the other factor. It is a well-known fact that the best form of rest is sleep. When you are asleep your body is not functioning as much as it is when you are awake so this is when the body can concentrate on repairing/healing itself. It’s good to get eight hours sleep every night especially when you are HIV +. Getting a good amount of sleep can help the body function better so it is good to get the amount of sleep in relation to the way you live your life.onder why boys do the things they do?
