CAMILLA ON THE COBBLES

The cast of Coronation Street were treated to some unusually classy company earlier today, when the Duchess of Cornwall visited the set...

The much-loved Manchester soap celebrates its 50th Birthday this year, and Camilla wobbled over its famous cobbles to kick of their landmark year.

She was greeted by Corrie's very own Duchess - glamorous granny Liz McDonald - aka Beverly Callard, before having a chinwag with those cheeky Webster girls, who presented her with a lovely bunch of flowers.

Her visit was rounded off with a presentation of a silver broach featuring Hilda Ogden's famous flying ducks. Just what she's always wanted, we're sure!
