ISABEL GUZMAN: A PUFFTA EXCLUSIVE!

She's beautiful, blonde and Swedish, and she makes amazing, cutting-edge pop music. Oh, and she's lovely. What's not to like? We caught up with next-big-thing Isabel Guzman to talk music, gays and Dannii Minogue...

PUFFTA
Hello Isabel! How are you today?

ISABEL
I am feeling great, thanks! Working night shifts in the studio to finish the album...really excited about it!

PUFFTA
Introduce yourself to those unfortunate Puffta's who have yet to come across your wonderful music. Who the devil are you?

ISABEL
I'm a half Swedish, half Bolivian girl making real pop music for the crowds. I love music that'll make you want to move your body.

PUFFTA
You're blonde, beautiful and Swedish. Did you ever fancy 'utilising' those talents in a different way, had the music not taken off? You'd have made a great model!

ISABEL
Oh, thank you! :-) But I'm too short to be a model. And I bleach my hair to get it blonde (surprise!) Actually, I've now gone from blonde to pink to dark again, always changing.

PUFFTA
Tell us about your debut EP, 'Kill The Boy'. It's a bit good isn't it.

ISABEL
I want to give people a preview of what's coming later on. It's a collection of songs that were important to me during that time, now I'm focused on the forthcoming album but I still want dance to Mysterious, take a stroll to Kill The Boy and stomp my feet to the magico ritmo of And The Beat Goes.

PUFFTA
What can we expect from an Isabel Guzman album? Other than an increase in length.

ISABEL
I will keep experimenting with genres but still keep the pop feeling, I really love a good pop song and that is the most important theme of the album. I am keeping my collaboration with the two amazing producers of Tortuga but I will also have a few featurings and guest producers.

PUFFTA
You've done Swedish Pride and have been spotted sporting a lovely rainbow coloured ear-ring. We take it you're popular with the gays?

ISABEL
Seems like it! :-) but it's hard to tell...haven't done any research.
