Puffta (our core brand) is a national online magazine aimed
at gay teens. Puffta will celebrate it's seventh birthday in 2006. Oozing with
style, puffta.co.uk packs in loads of gay teen features. The boys at puffta say
it's like the girlie magazine SUGAR or 19, only its online and for gay boys".
Puffta run by a dedicated team of gay boys, and is exclusively for
gay teens.
Founded in 1999 by Simon Johnson; 18 years old at the time,
Simon realised the potential of a brand that gay youth would relate to and want
to be part of. Creating the attitude and building brand awareness has been the
focus of the past six years. Simon Johnson now works for Qsoft as Brand Marketing Manager.

- teen positive life.
After puffta.co.uk released the results of its first gay teen
sex survey in 2004, revealing that a massive 46% of gay teens are having regular
unprotected sex. 20 year old Adam joined the puffta team at the right time.
After completing the sex survey and reading the results; he asked to write about
his experience of living with HIV. Adam's own online diary covers everything
from his seroconversion to visiting a HIV clinic. Immediately an online
community was created.
